Dr. Ward, Dr. Hall and our entire staff welcomes you to The Eye Center. Our website is designed to help you make the best decision on eye care treatment and services in the Okmulgee, South Tulsa and Bixby, OK areas. If you are in search of quality, professional eye care from a knowledgeable and experienced team we encourage you to learn more! The Eye Center prides ourselves on our personal service and care. Our modern facilities in Okmulgee and Bixby are designed to be both state-of-the-art and comfortable. From your initial examination through assisting you with payment options and insurance, we are with you every step of the way. We take the time to explain our services and treatments and make sure you aware of all of your options. You'll find our staff friendly, professional, and willing to answer any of your questions. The Eye Center traces its history back to 1952 when it was named the Eldridge Eye Clinic. Dr. Ward and Dr. Hall purchased Eldridge Eye Clinic in 1999 and after constructing a new 4,600 square foot facility in Okmulgee in 2001, when they renamed the clinic The Eye Center. The Eye Center South Tulsa opened in its new state-of-the-art clinic in October of 2007.
From infants through seniors, our eye care services are designed for your entire family. We provide extensive eye exams and serve as your primary eye care optometrist. We have a wide selection of lenses and frames to suit your lifestyle. Our contact lens options are allowing more people than ever to wear them. The Eye Center has in-house therapeutic laser in both of our locations and we can co-manage cataract surgery. We perform an extensive amount of medical follow-up for workers comp eye injuries as well as assistance for diabetic eye conditions, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.
The doctors and staff at the Eye Center make annual donations of knowledge, time and resources for the betterment of our community. Activities supported by The Eye Center include: Free complete eye examinations provided to every Bixby Public School System kindergarten student. Participation in free InfantSee, national programs that provide exams on any child under the age of 12 months old. We are part of Vision USA, another national program that provides free eye exams and glasses for the "working poor” who may not qualify for other state or federal assistance. We participate in multiple fundraising events for local schools, the YMCA, United Way, the Lions and Rotary and other organizations. We believe that giving back is not only our duty but part of our responsibility in being proactive in promoting positive, healthy and productive communities.
